Features: The characteristics of media teaching originate from the involvement of various media in teaching. Therefore, studying the carrying and transmission of different teaching media, reproducing the features and functions of teaching information, and researching teaching objectives to achieve optimal education processes are all important issues faced by those engaged in distance and open education. This, in turn, organizes our teaching approach. The compilation of this book is positioned as a self-directed learning textbook for students. The compilers, targeting the characteristics of distance learners, especially the relatively difficult access to learning support services for students in remote areas, have innovatively designed and written the book by "combining and discarding" the design methods of traditional classroom teaching textbooks, teaching reference books, learning guidance books, and practical internship guidance books. The purpose is to enable students to effectively master the textbook content and construct a relatively complete knowledge structure. The book is printed in white and blue, with the white part being the main body of the textbook and the blue part being the supplementary section. The supplementary section is divided into two parts: "Chapter Content Structure" and "Learning Suggestions." Among them: "Chapter Content Structure" serves as the main thread for students' self-directed learning and can also provide reference for teachers when preparing lesson plans; "Learning Suggestions" offers detailed guidance on learning methods, learning strategies, the arrangement of learning activities, the use of technology in learning, and the use of media.
