Features: Chinese feminism is sharp but not aggressive. It explores women's issues, cares about the harmonious development of both genders, and ultimately focuses on the eternal question of "humanity." This book combines history and the present, translation and localization, theory and action, offering a blend of academic rigor and fashion, showcasing a smiling Chinese feminism. "Close Reading of Feminist Texts" is an excellent form of feminist criticism, as it changes traditional perceptions and directions through meticulous analysis, permeating powerful feminist ideas into every subtle textual object. This volume's close readings continue the classic re-readings from the spring issue, continuing to interpret classic feminist works. Each re-reading and analysis places us at the intersection of history and reality, forcing us to reflect on our own origins and destinations. The other analyses of specific written texts, such as literature and film, allow us to experience the feminist practice where experience and theory mutually call to each other. Awakening the silent experiences in texts and life may be the most engaging and magical aspect of "Close Reading of Feminist Texts." The column "Feminist Window" is similar yet different. This is because visual art indeed has its own mode of production. This column not only focuses on visual artworks but also emphasizes the study of the production process of visual art. It explores why a film is or isn't a feminist film, or why a play is or isn't a feminist play, examining the actions of directors and actors in the process, and studying who holds the reins in our visual era? The powerful progress of feminism has reached every angle and scene of contemporary life, just as a woman carrying a pregnancy in her belly, her beauty of life has entered our increasingly bright vision.
