Looking at erotic literature collections or art books from different countries and eras, one will see countless oversized phalluses. They are constantly erect, standing tall, and display a posture of victory. Whether it is the stone carvings of male genitalia adorning Indian temples or the winged phalluses of ancient Rome, the penis is often depicted larger than reality, exaggerated and fascinating. Whether it is to praise or compensate, men's obsession with the penis is almost involuntary. It is difficult to see its true face, as if observing through the ends of a telescope. The wrong end makes it appear excessively small and distorted, a pathetic little creature that can never satisfy women. The correct end, on the other hand, makes it too large, too close. Both methods cause distortion. For some obscure reason, a man's self is almost inseparable from his penis. Women never identify with their vagina as strongly as men identify with their penis. No one knows when boys start to regard the penis as the center of their consciousness. Modern boys, whether touching, praising, or publicly displaying erections, face few restrictions. Statisticians and psychologists have confirmed that once boys become aware of sex, unless something keeps them busy, they think about it multiple times per hour. Freud only had active sexual activity for ten years in his entire life, so this cannot be trusted too much. He said that men's fragile self-identity is based on the shaky anxiety of castration. We see that little girls and their mothers lack something compared to us and assume they are unlucky, deprived of this dignity by fate or a cruel father. No matter how you dissect this, it's best to do less of it, and the essence and destiny of the penis remain closely tied to a man's heart. These considerations often replace his heart. Now, even if men's understanding of sex is not complete, it is quite rich. Generally, they feel that there is nothing new left in the realm of sex. A boy's sexual enlightenment usually occurs in contexts rich in psychoanalytic significance, such as wet dreams, locker rooms, or the back seats of cars. Wet dreams may be the most important factor among neglected sexual enlightenment elements. Some men never wet dream in their entire lives, while others wait until they have sexual experience before doing so. But for some, wet dreams are like a trumpet call awakening the sleeper. For these men, long before they grow pubic hair, their bodies are shaped by hormones, their parents and teachers teach them about insects and birds doing the deed, and they are painstakingly warned not to do this or that, the great and primal penis has already bravely taken on the role of sexual enlightenment. The importance of the enlightenment dream lies in the fact that it allows some men to experience sex and mystery, profanation and sanctity at an early age. Before we fall into the distorted and twisted sexual patterns shaped by culture, we sometimes get a glimpse of the mysteries of sexual ecstasy. The combination of creative imagination and hormones, before we are taught to be true men, presents us with the most beautiful vision of sex.
