Features: "Old Photos" presents the destinies of all kinds of people, both ordinary and extraordinary. In the past century, China has experienced successive revolutions and constant warfare; it has also endured frequent movements and relentless internal struggles. Counting the years, most people have been tossed about in the storm, while peaceful, normal lives have been scarce. Both in spirit and in body, the Chinese people have undergone more "baptisms" and hardships, revealing their nature in an all-encompassing, even cruel, manner, often leaving one sigh in admiration.
