This concept highlights the subjectivity and agency of the "political person" in political socialization and ideological and political education, avoiding the deficiency of neglecting the subjectivity of learners in traditional education. The author analyzes the process of molding the political person in three linear modules: first, the interaction between the political person and society; second, the internalization of political culture by the political person; and third, the political practice process of the political person. It further points out that the overall goal of molding and developing the political person during China's social transformation period is to shape qualified political persons who meet the requirements of the socialist dominant political culture. A valuable research method in this book is the combination of theoretical research and empirical analysis. The theoretical innovation in contemporary Chinese political science and ideological and political education must stem from and be rooted in the vibrant reality of life.
