Features: "Records of the Grand Historian" is hailed as "the peerless chronicle of historians, an unrhymed 'Li Sao'," and has been passed down for over two thousand years. The Chinese nation has long had a cultural tradition of compiling and writing books. From the legendary ancient texts "San Fen," "Wu Dian," "Ba Suo," and "Jiu Qiu," to the current "visual era," this tradition has been proven time and again. However, when looking at the domestic book market, it's a pity that no complete illustrated edition of "Records of the Grand Historian" can be found. This illustrated (treasured edition) of "Records of the Grand Historian" aims to fill this gap and verify history through images. The book uses illustrations to complement the text, adhering to the principle of "better to have less than to have more." In selecting images, efforts are made to ensure they are directly related to the historical facts being described, thereby authenticating the original historical scene, or indirectly explaining the facts and reflecting the historical context. The images mainly include ancient ruins, tombs, related ancient artifacts, Han Dynasty relief sculptures, ancient portraits, illustrations from ancient books, and various schematic diagrams, striving to use historically valuable images to reflect and witness history, allowing readers to gain a direct understanding of the historical facts of the pre-Qin and Qin-Han periods.
