Features: The wisdom of Chinese classics is an important part of the world's treasure trove of wisdom. It contains life insights and sources of wisdom that are a common heritage of humanity, and its unique value remains timeless. This time, they published a total of 9 books as the first batch, including "The Analects," "Tao Te Ching," "Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon," "Mencius," "The Great Learning," "The Doctrine of the Mean," "The Classic of Rites," "The Book of Changes," "Three-Character Classic," "Hundred Family Surnames," "Thousand-Character Classic," "Monograph for Children," "Dragon Wen Bian Ying," "Shengli Qimeng," and "Luo Gong Dui Yun." Among them, there are both time-honored classics of Chinese culture and traditional introductory reading materials. Through recitation, one can not only enlighten wisdom and inherit culture but also regulate behavior and cultivate character. The target audience of this series is mainly Chinese children and overseas Chinese learners. It adopts a large-character layout and is accompanied by Pinyin. The format of this series is the original text with Pinyin annotations. Ancient characters and variant characters are marked with black squares in the lower right corner, while proper nouns such as names of people, places, and dynasties are highlighted by changing the Pinyin font. For the sake of protecting children's eyesight, we adopted a large-character layout, hoping that children can recite while reading in a relaxed manner. To ensure the quality of this series, we invited professional scholars to annotate and proofread the texts based on the common editions of these classics, and we also invited authoritative experts to review them to guarantee the quality of the books. Reading requires a method. If the method is correct, the effort will be doubled. Some great teachers have advised that reading is valuable in reading classics, and reading classics is valuable in reciting them to the point of understanding, understanding to the point of applying, applying to the point of skill, and skill to the point of innovation. This is also the original intention of the Classic Recitation Project. In short, it boils down to six words: precision, familiarity, understanding, application, skill, and innovation. Among them, the processes of understanding, application, and innovation are explained. However, the explanation should be based on precision and familiarity. As for the enlightenment and realization that occurs in a state of undisturbed focus and single-minded recitation, that is truly extraordinary. In such cases, ordinary explanations are no longer needed.
