It contains life insights and sources of wisdom that are a common heritage of humanity, and its unique value remains timeless. This time, they published the first batch of books, totaling 9 titles, including "The Analects," "Tao Te Ching," "Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon," "Mencius," "Great Learning," "Doctrine of the Mean," "Classic of Rites," "I Ching," "Three Character Classic," "Hundred Family Surnames," "Thousand-Character Classic," "Monograph for Beginners," "Disciples' Rules," "Dragon's Whipping Shadow," "Rhythm Enlightenment," and "Lipkin's Rhyme." Among them, there are both time-honored classics of Chinese culture and traditional introductory reading materials. Through recitation, one can not only enlighten wisdom and inherit culture but also regulate behavior and cultivate character. The target audience of this series is mainly Chinese children and overseas Chinese learners. It adopts a large-character layout and is accompanied by Pinyin. The format of this series is the original text with Pinyin annotations. Ancient characters, variant characters, and proper nouns such as names, places, and dynasties are marked with black squares in the lower right corner, while the Pinyin of proper nouns is changed. For the sake of protecting children's eyesight, we adopted a large-character layout, hoping that children can recite while reading in a relaxed manner. To ensure the quality of this series, we invited professional scholars to annotate and proofread the classic texts based on the standard editions and had authoritative experts review them to guarantee the quality of the books. Reading requires a method. When the method is correct, the effort is doubled. Some great figures have advised that reading is about reading classics, and reading classics is about reciting them to gain insights, using those insights, and refining them to create new ideas. This is also the original intention of the Classic Recitation Project. In short, it boils down to six characters: precision, familiarity, insight, application, skill, and innovation. Among them, insight, application, and innovation are explained. However, these explanations should be based on precision and familiarity. As for the enlightenment and realization that occurs when the mind is undisturbed and focused on recitation, that is truly extraordinary. In such cases, ordinary explanations are no longer needed.
