Features: In November 1978, the academic conference on ancient Chinese script studies was held at Jilin University. The conference decided to establish the Society of Ancient Chinese Script Studies and compile the papers submitted to the conference into a collection titled Studies in Ancient Chinese Script, to be published by Zhonghua Book Company. In August 1979, the first issue of Studies in Ancient Chinese Script was officially launched. Over the past two decades, the field of ancient script studies has developed rapidly. As a professional academic journal for this discipline, Studies in Ancient Chinese Script has published a total of twenty-five issues, featuring outstanding research articles by renowned scholars and contributing to the flourishing of academia. Currently, the early issues of Studies in Ancient Chinese Script have been completely sold out. To meet the needs of a broad readership of professional scholars, we will first reprint the issues from the first to the fifteenth published before 1986 in their original format. This is to be noted.
