Features: This book takes state-owned commercial banks as examples, providing a comprehensive classification and review of current business processes and management processes. It identifies the main risk management and control measures within each process and implements these control measures in the corresponding internal control roles and responsibilities. This reform and reengineering of the control system can not only significantly enhance the effectiveness of internal control but also greatly reduce its costs, while also leaving a highly operational interface for the expansion of new business for commercial banks. This book is the result of a joint research project between China Construction Bank and Wuhan University. Based on extensive field research and drawing on relevant domestic and international experience, the research team applied the basic principles of financial engineering to study and design the internal control system of China's state-owned commercial banks. They constructed the overall framework of the internal control system, as well as the organizational structure, role and responsibility system, tool system, and evaluation and assessment system, forming a complete design scheme for the internal control system of commercial banks. This scheme identifies various risk points in the risk internal control system of commercial banks, demonstrating strong practicality and operability. Pilot programs in some branch banks have been highly successful, offering valuable insights for the internal control management of commercial banks.
