Features: In June 2001, the editor organized a "Research-Based Learning" symposium in Beijing, inviting over 40 principals from primary and secondary schools to discuss how to promote "research-based learning" and plan to summarize the teaching experience of the previous stage, compiling case studies on "research-based learning." From the more than 120 articles provided by these schools, 33 were selected according to high standards and strict requirements, and compiled into this book. The book is divided into two volumes. The first volume is the "Case Studies & Records" section, featuring students' "research-based learning" cases and examples of schools implementing "research-based learning" activities. The second volume is the "Overview & Operations" section, which clarifies the core concepts of "research-based learning" and provides guidance on the operational behaviors of "research-based learning." The case studies and examples selected for this book are entirely different from the reports, papers, and research studies readers typically see in newspapers and magazines. They may hold certain academic significance, but not necessarily educational significance. The case studies and examples selected in this book focus on describing the research process and emphasize the actual impact of research on students' personal development.
