It provides a systematic and comprehensive analysis of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area while closely linking it to practical issues such as the model selection, economic effects, the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and East Asian cooperation and its prospects, and the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and the Western Development Strategy. The book consists of eight chapters: Chapter 1 is on the economic analysis of the theoretical background of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area. Chapter 2 is an attempt by the author to analyze the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area from the perspective of international economic politics using the theory of interdependence.
