This demonstrates the Party's further maturity, the innovation of Party-building theory, and the completeness of the Party's developmental goals. With the proposal and elaboration of the concept of socialist political civilization, many Party and government officials and scholars have published papers, exploring and researching socialist political civilization from various angles. Professor Li Liangdong's On Socialist Political Civilization comprehensively explores topics such as the formation and development of political civilization, the connotation of socialist political civilization and its relationship with the other two civilizations, and the pathways to building socialist political civilization. On Socialist Political Civilization thoroughly elaborates on the connotations of civilization, political civilization, and socialist political civilization, as well as their historical development. It discusses how to draw on the common achievements of human civilization and absorb reasonable rules and forms from Western capitalist democratic politics while adapting to China's national conditions. At the same time, the book provides an incisive explanation of the relationship among socialist political civilization, socialist material civilization, and socialist spiritual civilization, particularly highlighting the connection between building socialist political civilization and the ruling Party enhancing its governance capacity and improving its governance level. The publication of this book will serve as an excellent reference for advancing the construction of socialist political civilization and studying and implementing the spirit of the 16th National Congress of the Party's Fourth Plenary Session.
