Features: In the past half-century, exotic orchids and butterfly orchids have become highly popular. There has also been a surge in appreciation for colored flowers, exemplified by Taiwan's black orchid "Ta Ji." Additionally, the mid-1990s saw a trend of admiring crystal artistry. With the extensive development of orchids in China's southwestern region, there have emerged crystal flowers with semi-transparent petals and red and gold flowers with unique colors. Today, people's appreciation of orchids extends beyond their fragrance, with visual enjoyment becoming increasingly diverse and refined, marking an era of multi-art and multi-appreciation points. The arts of orchids can be summarized as floral art, leaf art, and plant form art. Floral art has numerous appreciation points. In terms of flower color, there are those who admire white flowers, plain flowers, and plain-centered flowers, as well as those who appreciate flowers with unique colors. Based on both color and shape, there are butterfly orchids (where the sepal or petal is shaped and colored like a lip). In terms of shape, there are appreciation points for petal-type flowers and exotic flowers (with multiple petals, tongues, or noses, or with fewer petals and unusual petals). White flowers refer to flowers with petals (including the lip) that are pure white. If the lip has other color spots, it is called a white flower with colored centers. The "heart" refers to the lip. Plain flowers refer to flowers with petals (including the lip) of a single color, which may not necessarily be white—pure red, pure yellow, or any other single color is acceptable. For example, "all-red plain" refers to a flower that is entirely red, while "green ink plain" refers to an ink orchid that is entirely green. "Plain heart" specifically refers to a lip that is entirely one color, without any other. If the lip is entirely red, it is called "red plain." If the lip has large red spots with other base or edge colors, it is called "red lip," not "red plain." Leaf art refers to leaves with colored lines or spots (usually yellow or white, but also green lines and spots, or even black lines and spots). Plant form art includes dwarf varieties, medium-dwarf varieties, dragon leaf, and tornado leaf, among others. Among orchids that are worth appreciating, the various appreciation points (arts) in floral art, leaf art, and plant form art generally only have one prominent and striking expression per plant. For example, the small snow plain of Lianban orchids originally only had white flowers and plain hearts, but it has now been discovered that some small snow plains have medium-transparent leaf art, giving these plants two arts. We refer to orchids with two or more prominent and striking appreciation points (i.e., multi-art orchids, also called multi-art orchids or multi-art orchids) as multi-art orchids. Generally speaking, the appreciation value of multi-art orchids is higher. Multi-art orchids are often new arts that emerge from variations of existing famous or rare varieties, or they may appear as newly collected wild orchids that already exhibit multiple arts. The more prominent appreciation points an orchid has, the rarer it becomes and the more popular it is in the orchid community. Therefore, multi-art orchids have become a new pursuit and hotspot in the orchid world.
