Features: Turtle Power – Control Technology and Utilizing Various Technological Means to Control Surrounding Objects. If you have ever participated in any control-related activities at school (not referring to bullying on the playground – note!), you might have played the "Turtle" game.
This is a small machine that can move according to your commands, so you are controlling it. The "Turtle" is not an actual turtle; turtles do not obey commands, but the "Turtle" will fully comply with your instructions. All you need to do is arrange how many steps it should move forward or turn at certain angles, and it will do just that!
Home Control
Take a look around your home, and you will find many small control technologies. Usually, there are sensors that control certain things, such as lights or alarms. Your central heating system may be controlled by a temperature, which turns on the radiators when it detects that the room is too cold. Your home security system may have motion sensors. If someone enters the room within the alarm's set time, the sensor will trigger the alarm. Similarly, smoke detectors "smell" the air for smoke and will emit a loud noise once they detect any smoke.
