Features: Combining the successful experiences of U.S. career centers and information institutions, the authors believe that there are five types of resources that are most important when job hunting:
1. Professional consultation experience from U.S. newest and top-tier career centers, including training in job-seeking skills.
2. Talent recruitment standards from HR personnel of domestic and foreign enterprises and top-tier companies, providing insights from an employer's perspective.
3. Experiences from successful applicants who have entered the industry, sharing their insights from an industry entry angle.
4. Interviews with employees who have worked in companies for 1-2 years, discussing knowledge and career development planning.
5. Harvard-style case studies, which help us learn from the best and target our efforts effectively.
Drawing on U.S. scientific methods and successful models, the authors propose that the following five types of resources should be considered comprehensively:
The first type of resource is high-level, as China's human resource assessment systems and recruitment websites are, without exception, clones of the U.S. system and technology.
The importance of the second type of resource is self-evident, as those responsible for recruitment hold the power over job seekers. Their hiring standards, rules, and unwritten rules must be carefully studied.
The third type of resource is the most helpful for job seekers, as they are heroes who have fought on the front lines and truly understand how to win in the smoke of battle.
The fourth type of resource consists of employees who have worked in their positions for 1-2 years. They can best appreciate which university knowledge is most helpful and what still needs improvement, helping job seekers gain a deeper understanding of the knowledge structure and skills required for future jobs and prepare themselves in advance to enhance their competitiveness.
The fifth type of resource is about tailoring your life using Harvard-style methods. The main theme of our series is to effectively organize and systematically integrate the above five types of resources.
