Features: The idea of writing this book first occurred to me in 2000. That year, I began overseeing the national interconnection and universal use of bank cards, the construction of modern payment systems, as well as treasury, accounting, and statistics-related work. This gave me more opportunities to access materials and situations from the central bank's service departments, conduct some research, and chair the deliberation of relevant reform proposals. Through these experiences, I learned a great deal and received significant education and inspiration. I worked in the People's Bank of China system for over 20 years and originally thought I was quite familiar with it. However, when I had more exposure to service-related operations, I completely changed this perception. It also deepened my understanding and appreciation of the central bank's important role and significance in financial services.
