Features: This book is one of the sets of teaching materials for professional management personnel in construction enterprises for job qualification training, intended for training construction machinery operators and safety personnel. It can also be used by other individuals to learn basic electrical and electronic knowledge. Based on the principles of job training, this book focuses on small and medium-sized construction machinery and general construction sites, introducing commonly used practical electrical and electronic knowledge along with necessary theoretical knowledge. It strives to reflect new technologies, new equipment, new standards, and new specifications, aiming for clarity and ease of understanding. Each chapter includes a summary and exercises. The symbols in this book adhere to the new symbols specified by national standards. Symbols are divided into project designators and physical quantity symbols. When a symbol represents a specific electrical device, equipment, terminal, or cross-wired connection, it is treated as a project designator. Symbols use uppercase bold letters and numbers, with the numbers aligned with the letters, such as motor M1, M2, three-phase equipment terminals U1, V1, W1, and three-phase conductors L1, L2, L3. When a symbol represents a physical quantity, it is treated as a physical quantity symbol, using italic letters and numbers with subscripts, such as resistance R1, R2, and capacitance C1, C2. Project designators are generally used in the preparation of technical documents, while textbooks (especially those on electronic circuits) typically use physical quantity symbols.
