Features: On the early morning of December 14, 1951, the author was born in Montreal, Canada. The author's mother was superstitious about the number 13, believing it would bring misfortune to the author, so she waited until one minute after the clock struck 12 before letting the author enter the world. However, the author has always wondered why her uncle, who was born on the 13th, was the luckiest person she knew. As a child, the author used to bite pencil tips until she discovered how bitter the lead was and then stopped this bad habit, replacing it with doodling with pencils. Gradually, the author found joy in painting, which became her love and life's goal. Now, perhaps the author should thank that pencil with a taste not worth praising. Art masterpieces are not limited to sculptures or oil paintings displayed in museums; simple forms can also carry great works, such as sketches, or even soap carvings. In my opinion, maintaining a sincere heart is the essence of art. At a young age, I realized that pursuing fame and fortune through art would only lead to the realization that it was all in vain. To wholeheartedly dedicate oneself to a beloved career, focusing solely on it without distraction, and letting things unfold naturally will bring everything in due time. First and foremost, I want to thank the friends who put in the effort for this event, as it allowed me to organically share the creative results of my reading over the years with more comic enthusiasts, including some works that are being published for the first time.
