What is neonatal syndrome?

Patient's question:

Newborn aspiration syndrome, the child could not eat for 3 days after birth, vomiting every time they tried. They received intravenous fluids for three days at the county hospital with no improvement. Can this condition be treated?

Doctor's answer:

Consider whether the lungs are underdeveloped, as the infant's stomach and lungs are filled with water, which will gradually improve after birth. Under normal circumstances, there should be no problem within one or two days. The child is too young to take medication now. Medication is not recommended. It is best to give the child some medication. Mild brain hypoxia is not a big deal. If it is hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, it needs treatment. I suggest you take the child to a large hospital for a detailed examination before treatment.
