Features: The compensation system for demolition and resettlement in China can be divided into two major parts: urban housing demolition compensation is regulated by the "Regulations on Urban Housing Demolition" promulgated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development; rural land requisition compensation follows the provisions of the "Land Administration Law of the People's Republic of China." The compensation fees include land compensation, resettlement assistance, compensation for structures on the land, and compensation for crops. The compensation for housing is usually included in the "compensation for structures on the land." These differing regulations have resulted in significant differences in the compensation standards for the two types of compensation. This book primarily introduces the compensation standards for rural land requisition, providing a comprehensive explanation from perspectives such as the requisition compensation procedure, the requisition compensation standards, and case analyses of requisition compensation. In addition to including various land requisition flowcharts and national laws and regulations on land requisition, since the compensation standards for land requisition vary greatly across regions, this book also collects relevant land requisition regulations from all over the country to help readers better understand local demolition policies and legally protect their rights.
