Features: "A half of the Analects can govern the world." From ancient times to the present, whether among scholars or the common people, the Analects has always been a sacred classic that Chinese people cannot surpass. As the origin of Chinese culture, the arguments and ideological propositions of the Analects have permeated China's political and educational system, social customs, psychological habits, and behavioral patterns for over two thousand years. How can ancient classics be revitalized in the new "cultural reconstruction"? The Analects is a treasure of Confucianism in China, recording the words and deeds of Confucius and his disciples from over two and a half thousand years ago. In this edition, the structure between chapters has been revised according to Zhu Xi's Collected Annotations on the Analects; the format is divided into three parts: "Original Text," "Annotations," and "General Meaning." This book attempts to explain the author's understanding of the Analects and its contemporary value in concise language, which is placed after the "General Meaning" in a separate paragraph. The "General Meaning" only introduces the meaning of the original text and does not include the author's insights. This is done to clearly distinguish between the introduction of the original meaning of the Analects and the author's own understanding and interpretation.
