Fate and Time - Biographies of Famous Foreign Poets, Reminiscences

Author: None
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-08-21
Features: This is a series of prose books written entirely by poets (foreign). The publication of this series is based on the idea that among the writing community, poets are a very important and special group. Their way of thinking, linguistic composition, writing stance, and perceptions of life and things are all marked by the unique imprint of poetry. Many poets, in addition to poetry, have written a large amount of prose, essays, literary criticism, biographies, and even novels, such as Goethe, Pushkin, Edgar Allan Poe, Baudelaire, T.S. Eliot, Yeats, Borges, etc. Their prose works differ greatly from those of non-poet writers and can be called "another form of writing." Therefore, compiling such a series of writings not only has documentary value but also holds significance in research, aesthetics, appreciation, and other aspects.
