Features: This book focuses on breaking the traditional mindset in agricultural development theory that emphasizes the impact of factors on economic growth, proposing a hierarchical development concept. Through methods such as hypothesis formulation, theoretical research, empirical analysis, and case studies, it demonstrates the scientific validity and rationality of "Hierarchical Development of Hot Zone Agriculture," establishes a new theoretical framework, and guides the hierarchical development of China's hot zone agriculture. The book consists of eleven chapters. The preface primarily introduces the current status, issues, research approach, and methods of agricultural development in China's hot zones. Chapter 2 presents basic concepts and a literature review. Chapter 3 primarily argues and establishes the theoretical framework of "Economic Hierarchical Growth," which posits that under the premise of constant other factors, implementing hierarchical economic development can achieve greater economic growth and promote better economic development. Chapter 4, using the economic development of cities and counties in Hainan Province as an example, conducts an empirical analysis of the practicality of "Economic Hierarchical Growth." Chapter 5 proposes a theoretical framework hypothesis for the hierarchical development of hot zone agriculture and its industrialized operations, conducts theoretical proof, and argues that the output of hierarchical tropical agriculture will exceed the output of traditional non-hierarchical agriculture, proving the authenticity and effectiveness of hierarchical development. Chapter 6, from the perspective of differences in productive forces, infers the hierarchical nature of tropical agricultural development and the importance of hierarchical development. Chapter 7, using the development of tropical agriculture in Hainan Province as an example, analyzes the objective requirements of the development, hierarchical nature, and hierarchical development of Hainan's tropical agriculture. Chapter 8 applies cluster analysis, cooperative game theory, and Shapley values to establish a cooperative benefit model (function) for the hierarchical development of industrialized hot zone agriculture, conducts case studies on the hierarchical development process of Hainan's tropical agriculture, and demonstrates the steps of hierarchical hot zone agriculture. Chapter 9 conducts case studies on the hierarchical development of industrialized operations in Hainan's tropical agriculture, summarizes the six current hierarchical development stages of industrialized operations in Hainan's hot zone agriculture, and proposes corresponding development strategies. Chapter 10 proposes a path plan for the hierarchical development of tropical agriculture and empirically validates its effectiveness. Chapter 11 presents conclusions, recommendations, and discussions on issues.
How should agriculture in China's tropical regions develop? How should its industrialization process be advanced? These are the main questions this book attempts to address. Similar issues not only exist in China's tropical regions but also to some extent nationwide. The research aims to explore effective and efficient development paths and models for China's hot zone agriculture and its industrialization, demonstrating the validity of hierarchical development in China's hot zone agriculture.
