Features: This chart strives for exquisite illustrations, accurate acupoint locations, concise content, and uses three-view diagrams (front, side, and back) to depict 361 meridian points, 76 extra-meridian points, and 91 auricular points. Additionally, a separate "Explanation" booklet is included. For convenience, a portable version with a reduced-size large chart is attached to the back of the "Explanation." The acupoint names, codes, and locations in the "Acupuncture and Moxibustion Meridian Points Chart" and the "Explanation" are based on the National Standard "Acupoint Locations," "Extra-Meridian Point Names and Locations," and the World Health Organization (WHO) "International Standard Acupuncture Point Names."
The 14 meridians in the "Acupuncture and Moxibustion Meridian Points Chart" are marked with long, segmented, or dotted lines in red, purple, blue, green, and black, with corresponding colored dots indicating the acupoints. Extra-meridian points are marked with black circles, while intercostal points have a black dot in the center of the circle. Auricular points are divided into regions or marked with black dots, and points on the inner surface of the auricle are indicated with asterisks ().
In the "Acupuncture and Moxibustion Meridian Points Chart," the names of the acupoints are labeled with Chinese characters on one side and international standard codes on the other. For paired points, the names and codes are placed on opposite sides, while for single points, they are placed on the left and right or at the top and bottom. Extra-meridian point codes are too long, so only the locations and serial numbers are marked in the National Standard, with "EX" omitted. Commonly used extra-meridian points outside the standard are marked only with locations. Auricular point names are labeled with Chinese characters and codes according to the National Standard.
