Features: To promote the development of caregiver professional training and vocational skill assessment, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of China and the China Employment Training Technology Guidance Center have implemented the national vocational qualification certification system among caregiver practitioners. Based on the completion of the formulation of the "National Vocational Standard—Caregiver" (hereinafter referred to as "Standard"), experts who participated in the writing and review of the "Standard" and other relevant experts were organized to write the "National Vocational Qualification Training Course—Caregiver" (hereinafter referred to as "Course"). This "Course" closely aligns with the "Standard" and strives to reflect the guiding principle of "orienting toward professional activities and focusing on vocational skills," highlighting the characteristics of professional training. Structurally, the "Course" is written in a modular format, divided into three levels—primary, intermediate, and advanced—based on the domains of caregiver professional activities. The basic knowledge section of this "Course" covers the "Basic Requirements" of the "Standard"; the skill section's chapters correspond to the "Professional Functions" of the "Standard," sections correspond to the "Work Content," and the content within sections aligns with the "Skill Requirements" and "Related Knowledge" of the "Standard." The "National Vocational Qualification Training Course—Caregiver (Basic Knowledge)" is suitable for the training of primary, intermediate, and advanced caregivers and serves as the designated supplementary textbook for vocational skill assessment. This book was written by Zhou Meilin, Zhao Lili, and Wu Li, with Zhou Meilin as the chief editor.
