Author: Central China Normal University
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2001-06-01
Features: This book is approved by the Ministry of Education as a "21st Century Curriculum Textbook" and is a research outcome of the "Nine-Five Key Textbook Project" and the "Higher Normal School Teaching Reform Program" in general higher education. The entire textbook is divided into three volumes. This volume covers chemical analysis, consisting of twelve chapters, including qualitative analysis, processing of analytical data, titration methods, gravimetric analysis, spectrophotometric methods, and common separation and enrichment techniques. Each chapter includes a summary, as well as corresponding review questions and exercises. This book is a revision of the second edition of Analytical Chemistry published in 1986. The qualitative analysis section of the original book has been streamlined and combined into one chapter. The entire book emphasizes the concepts of main and side reactions in titration, using side reaction coefficients and conditional equilibrium constants to quantitatively treat chemical equilibria in titration, making the content more concise. The book also updates some illustrations, examples, and exercises in each chapter, adds a Chinese-English glossary of chemical analysis keywords, and includes an index. This book can serve as a textbook for analytical chemistry courses in higher normal schools and can also be referenced by science and engineering, agriculture, and medical colleges, as well as technical personnel engaged in analytical chemistry.
