It is well-known that judges in Shenzhen bear workloads among the highest in the country. As I held each essay, showcasing professional expertise and theoretical depth, I saw the dedication of the judges, working tirelessly under the lights, penning their thoughts. I am deeply impressed by their research spirit and am delighted to write this preface. With societal progress and the development of the socialist market economy, various new types of cases have emerged in recent years, with increasingly diverse causes of action and complex legal relationships. The need for judges to update and study theory has become particularly urgent. Amid the reform of the judicial profession, expert judges and scholar judges will undoubtedly stand out as pioneers in their respective fields, with their profound legal knowledge and high professional competence. In the process of building a rule of law society in China, they will also be placed at the forefront of the team, becoming the backbone and pillars of judicial reform and development. This collection reflects the meaningful attempts and active exploration of contemporary judges in integrating legal theory with judicial practice, holding both theoretical value and practical significance. China's judicial reform has entered a new phase of development, and the path of China's rule of law still has a long way to go. We have a heavy responsibility and a long journey ahead.
