Features: Digital media art aesthetics is a brand-new field of aesthetic research, characterized by the distinct features of our time while also encompassing the profound artistic and aesthetic traditions. As a research project under the "211 Phase II Engineering" program of the Ministry of Education, it is both pioneering, necessary, and significant in research, yet it is also filled with numerous challenges and difficulties. Therefore, in the course of the research, while we have always adhered to combining a serious, rigorous, and realistic attitude with a proactive and innovative approach to effectively address the many challenges in the early stages of digital media art development from an aesthetic perspective, the entire research process is dynamic and variable, constrained by factors such as a lack of materials, tight research time, and insufficient funding. As a result, our research cannot always be as in-depth and detailed in certain aspects, especially in terms of methodological refinement and argumentation, where there are still some rough edges.
