The Listening Comprehension section accounts for 35% of the total score, with Listening Dialogue accounting for 15% and Listening Passages for 20%. To improve students' listening skills, the book focuses on "Interpretation of the Syllabus," "Analysis of Different Question Types," and includes a large number of exercises and answers. The Reading Comprehension section accounts for 35% of the total score, with In-depth Reading (Reading in Depth) accounting for 25% and Skimming and Scanning for 10%. In the writing process, reading skills such as reading speed, comprehension methods, building a solid language foundation, and avoiding bad reading habits have been added. Each section is accompanied by a large number of exercises and answers. The Cloze section accounts for 10% of the total score and uses multiple-choice questions. This section also includes a large number of exercises to provide students with sufficient practice. The Writing and Translation sections account for 20% of the total score, with Writing accounting for 15% and Translation for 5%. The writing section includes genres such as argumentative essays, expository essays, and applied writing; the translation section tests the ability to translate sentences, phrases, or common expressions from Chinese to English. Similarly, a large number of examples have been included to help students study and practice. During the writing process, the book is guided by new concepts: fully adopting the new question types and combining them with carefully selected, fresh materials. The book fully reflects the characteristics of fresh material, which is both knowledge-based and readable. It not only broadens students' knowledge but also improves their language application skills and their ability to perform well in the CET Band 4 exam.
