The translation of linguistic bilingual dictionaries is analyzed from two aspects: entry translation and example translation, focusing on identifying the translation patterns of linguistic terms in bilingual dictionaries and proposing constructive solutions to various translation problems. The translation of non-linguistic bilingual dictionaries is summarized andd from a practical operational perspective, aiming to comprehensively outline the translation methods and general principles for non-linguistic entries.
Finally, the book briefly studies the relationship between corpora and the translation of bilingual dictionaries. It reviews the emergence and development of corpora and analyzes their functions in bilingual dictionary translation. In terms of content arrangement, the book follows a progressive principle from macro-explanation to micro-analysis.
