Features: Under the increasingly open temporal and spatial conditions of contemporary China, it is an undeniable fact that various Western thoughts continuously enter our field of thought and culture. While bringing us numerous insights and wisdom, they also pose a significant challenge to our mainstream ideology—Marxism. Some even believe that Marxism has become outdated. In reality, a theory or doctrine is often named after its founder, but the doctrine belongs not only to the individual but also to the entire era. The Marxist theory, born in the mid-19th century, is a product of the entire era. Therefore, as long as this era has not ended, the theory will not be "outdated" and will inevitably retain its value and significance in the present era as it evolves with the times. In fact, as long as we engage in serious reflection and exploration of our current era and the problems it faces, we can appreciate the theoretical power of the Marxist doctrine. This is precisely the reason why we adopt the worldview and methodology of Marxism as the lens through which to analyze contemporary Western thoughts.
