Features: Critical care medicine is a rapidly developing new discipline in recent years. It is a specialized field where specially trained healthcare professionals, in intensive care units (ICUs) equipped with advanced monitoring and emergency equipment, provide comprehensive monitoring and treatment for various severe diseases and recurrent complications. To minimize medical risks and ensure patient safety in medical care, our city launched the qualification certification program for ICU specialists in Beijing in 2003.
