Author: Bao Xue-Xiong
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-08-01
Features: This book conducts an in-depth exploration of the medium- and long-term development of the pension insurance system in China's ethnic regions during the important period of strategic opportunities from the perspective of national economics. It places the pension insurance system within a comparative analysis framework that examines both the unique and shared characteristics of different regions, linking economic development with social development. Based on social surveys, it establishes corresponding economic and mathematical analysis models to summarize general patterns of macroeconomic and social management. This book is the first to measure the scale of "empty accounts" in the individual account funds of five autonomous regions from 1995 to 2004. It applies new materials to analyze the imbalance in the income and expenditure of pension insurance funds in ethnic autonomous regions, establishes a GM(1,1) model for the population growth of ethnic autonomous regions from 2006 to 2020, and applies it to predict the scale of the pension insurance fund income-expenditure gap. It proposes an overall concept for improving the pension insurance system in ethnic autonomous regions from 2006 to 2020, as well as strategic pathways and policy recommendations for strengthening the supervision of pension insurance funds.
