Features: This book is revised based on the teaching syllabus revised by the National Conference on Curriculum Development and Review for Automation Majors in Higher Industrial Schools in April 1983, and builds upon the experimental teaching materials for higher education published by China Machine Press in July 1980 titled "Factory Electrical Control Equipment." The book focuses on introducing the basic industrial principles and design methods of various common electrical appliances and their control systems, supplements advanced technologies and research findings from both domestic and international sources, and introduces new electrical products and their development trends. Chapter 1 covers the classification of control appliances and their roles in circuits; Chapter 2 discusses common electrical control circuits and their design methods; Chapter 3 covers various types of sequence controllers; Chapter 4 presents the technical indicators of magnetic amplifiers, the characteristic analysis of control systems, and their applications; Chapter 5 covers magnetic amplifiers and their control systems. The book is rigorous in its arguments and uniformly adopts the newly promulgated national standards. It can serve as a teaching text for industrial electrical automation majors and is also reference material for teachers and students in related fields, as well as for science and technology personnel engaged in automation work.
