Features: There was a great poet whose life was as romantic and legendary as his poetry. These poems became a milestone in Russian literature and were called "the beginning of all beginnings" by Gorky. This person is Pushkin. He passionately sang of freedom and love and was revered as the "sun of Russian poetry." He made the ruling authorities so angry that they wished to exile him to Siberia because "he had stirred up Russia with his provocative poems, and all the young people were reciting them." Yet, his poems are still passed down from generation to generation by young people and will continue to be sung forever.
