Readers familiar with the author's works might notice that the long "City Without Rain" was published in 1994, but in 1996 when compiling the collection, the author excluded it from the collection. The reason for this was probably because it was not considered substantial enough at the time! Even because it was too popular, it made the author feel uneasy and even doubt the artistic quality of this work. Ten years later, the author included it in this series of works because the author clearly realized that it was the writing of "City Without Rain" that trained the author's ability to structure long, and later works like "The Bathing Girl" and "Foolish Flower" benefited to some extent from this training in structure. When a writer summarizes the development of their work in stages, they should not overlook the writing that serves as a connection and preparation.
