Monocular telescope

Author: Qiu Huadong
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2007-01-01
Features: This book is divided into three parts in structure, and the author of the novel itself is the protagonist of the novel. It consists of three genres: letters, play scripts, and memoirs, suggesting a sense of estrangement between the author of the novel and the author themselves, and giving the novel an interstitial effect. The narrative time within these three genres progresses forward. The reason for adopting such genres and structure is that I have been deeply influenced by Western modernism, postmodernism, and the current borderless writers in the past century, and I can no longer write using entirely traditional methods. Therefore, I vary the structure of each work to introduce something fresh and to maintain my own enthusiasm and interest in writing. I believe that contemporary writers should be proficient in the various techniques and structural forms that have emerged in the development of modern fiction over the past century. The techniques and technologies that have appeared in the development of human fiction over the past century should become the basic skills of young writers.
