Features: On January 1, 2007, the new accounting standards system began to be implemented in listed companies, and other enterprises were encouraged to adopt the new accounting standards. Enterprises that implemented the new standards system no longer followed the original accounting standards, the "Enterprise Accounting System," and the "Financial Institution Accounting System." In the face of changes in the standards system, the content of many accounting textbooks and their analysis of issues became outdated, and accounting education should no longer teach relatively obsolete material. We urgently need new accounting textbooks! To meet the needs of accounting education in the new environment, we have written the book "Principles of Accounting" based on the content of the new accounting standards system and the latest research findings in accounting theory. It is intended for use in accounting education and for accountants and economic management personnel to update their knowledge. This book is written according to the new accounting standards system and the latest research findings in academia, while extensively referencing and drawing on the content of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to reflect new ideas, rules, methods, and trends. In addition to explaining basic accounting theory, basic accounting methods, and the accounting cycle, this book uses three chapters to explain the accounting for assets, liabilities, owner's equity, revenues, expenses, and profits under the new standards, making it easier for readers to understand the new accounting accounts and their usage. Some difficult concepts and content are elaborated on multiple occasions to reduce reading difficulty and enhance readers' depth of understanding. This book is intended for use in accounting education and for accountants and economic management personnel to update their knowledge.
