Features: Regional anatomy is an advanced understanding of human body structures based on systemic anatomy, and it is a discipline that comprehensively studies the structure of a specific part of the human body. It serves as an important foundation for clinicians, especially those in surgical departments, in their medical practice, and it is also a crucial required course for medical students during their clinical internship. This atlas is divided into 8 parts: Head, Neck, Thorax, Abdomen, Pelvic and Perineal Region, Spinal Region, and Upper and Lower Limbs, with approximately 364 color illustrations, striving to reflect the characteristics of human body structures in China. During the compilation process, a large number of domestic and international atlases and literature were referenced, adhering to the teaching syllabi of higher and secondary medical colleges in China. The terminology in the entire book follows the "Terminology of Human Anatomy" published by the National Natural Science Terminology Committee of China (1991). Most of the color illustrations in this atlas are based on specimens, with efforts made to restore the original colors of the organs, making the illustrations more realistic and artistic. Due to the use of color and artistic processing and innovation, this atlas is clearer and more exquisite than line drawings or ink paintings, making it easier for readers to understand and learn. Therefore, it is a medical atlas that uses watercolor as a medium to depict human body structures. Anatomical terms within the illustrations are presented in both Chinese and English, which is beneficial for learning.
