Features: That day, the sky was blue, the clouds white, and there was no wind. They met. She was sunny, lively, cute, and natural. She had no perm or dye, wearing a cute ponytail. The glasses perched on her big, watery eyes made her seem even more mature. He, on the other hand, was unremarkable in appearance but deep and composed, mature and steady. He had heard others describe him like this, unsure if it was true. Anyway, she was his type, but he didn’t know if she liked him. He had fallen for her. This was a fact only he knew, at least at the beginning. So, he racked his brain, finding excuses to ask her to study, eat, shop, and run. And she, unless she was truly busy, accepted every invitation. When they were together, everyone felt happy. Her repeated acceptance of his invitations further encouraged him. He grew even more concerned about her, treating her almost like his girlfriend. For a while, her health wasn’t good, and she often got sick. He bought medicine for her, cooked congee, and reminded her to rest, caring for her like a doctor would a patient, even more so. In fact, through their interactions, he already knew she had a boyfriend who loved her but wasn’t with her. So, every time he gave her the care she needed, he didn’t know if she would be moved, nor did he dare to hope for her feelings. Whether there were or weren’t, she didn’t show it—only accepted. He couldn’t figure her out. There’s a saying, "Don’t guess a girl’s heart." In his view, this was true. He wanted to confess his feelings to her, but he never had the courage to say it again and again. All he could do was continue to care for and cherish her. Gradually, he got used to caring for her, and she seemed to get used to his care too, taking it for granted and enjoying it, as he saw it. Peaceful days repeated day by day. The sky remained blue; the clouds remained white; the wind still didn’t blow; and their story continued in confusion, because too many concerns kept him from mustering the courage to say those three words.
