Features: This book was commissioned by the Henan Radio and Television University Textbook Construction Committee for the economic mathematics course of higher specialized education in economics within the system. It can also serve as a teaching material for economics majors in other adult universities and as a self-study book for a broad range of economic professionals. The book is divided into three parts: Part 1, Calculus and Its Applications; Part 2, Linear Algebra; Part 3, Introduction to Probability Theory. In terms of content selection, the book fully reflects the demand for mathematical knowledge in economics majors and the characteristics of adult part-time learning. While maintaining the basic integrity of the mathematical system, it focuses on introducing mathematical concepts, basic calculations, and simple application problems closely related to economic work and subsequent courses, aiming to enable students to grasp the essential mathematical foundations within a limited time. During the writing process, the book emphasizes using heuristic and geometric intuition to introduce basic concepts, without overly pursuing theoretical rigor. It also emphasizes strengthening students' basic computational skills, without excessively emphasizing complex calculations and transformation techniques. In terms of writing style, it adopts a lecture-like format, with detailed explanations of key and difficult content, striving to make the material both profound and accessible. To facilitate self-study, the learning objectives for each chapter are introduced at the beginning of the chapter, based on the teaching syllabus requirements, to give readers a clear understanding. Additionally, to assist readers with limited knowledge of elementary mathematics, a brief introduction to some essential elementary mathematical concepts required for studying this book is provided in the appendix at the end, for reference during learning.
