Features: Digital media art aesthetics is a brand-new field of aesthetic research, characterized by the distinct features of our time while also encompassing a long-standing tradition of art and aesthetics. As a research project under the "211 Phase II Engineering" program of the Ministry of Education of China, it not only demonstrates the pioneering, necessity, and importance of the research but also faces numerous challenges and difficulties. Therefore, in the course of the research, although we have consistently adhered to a serious, rigorous, and realistic attitude while combining it with an innovative approach to effectively address the many challenges in the early stages of digital media art development from an aesthetic perspective, the entire research process is filled with dynamic variables and constrained by conditions such as a lack of data, tight research time, and insufficient funding. As a result, our research cannot be as in-depth and detailed in certain aspects, especially in terms of methodological refinement and argumentation of viewpoints, where there are still some rough edges.
