This book is a collection, summary, classification, and organization of resource-saving and comprehensive utilization materials displayed in the General Hall and Local Halls of the "2005 Exhibition on Building a Resource-Conserving Society." The book is divided into four chapters: Chapter 1 provides an overview of China's efforts to implement the rapid construction of a resource-conserving society. Chapter 2 introduces the measures and development goals adopted by provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps in the practice of building a resource-conserving society. Chapter 3 presents relevant information on resource-saving and comprehensive utilization in planned single-column cities. Chapter 4 introduces key projects displayed in the Central Enterprises Pavilion. The book is comprehensive in content, with detailed and authoritative data, strong systematicity, and good reference value.
