The Qi Edition refers to the Qi Liansheng Preface Edition. The term "Qi Edition" has both a narrow and a broad meaning. Broadly speaking, it includes the Youzheng Edition, the Zhang Edition, and the Zecun Edition. Narrowly speaking, it refers only to the Youzheng Edition. The Youzheng Edition is the stone-printed Qi Liansheng Preface Edition published by Youzheng Bookstore (Shanghai). The Youzheng Edition has two types: (1) Large-character Edition, (2) Small-character Edition. The Large-character Edition refers to the stone-printed editions published successively by Youzheng Bookstore in the third year of the Xuantong era (1911) and the first year of the Republic of China (1912). The Small-character Edition refers to the stone-printed edition published by Youzheng Bookstore in the ninth year of the Republic of China (1920). Eight volumes, eighty chapters.
