Features: This edition of Dermatology and Venereology has been widely welcomed by faculty and students of medical schools and grassroots dermatologists since its publication in 1995. Like other disciplines, dermatology has made significant advancements in recent years, with the discovery of new diseases, the proposal of new concepts, and changes in the incidence rates of different conditions. To adapt to these objective realities and the needs of readers, the second edition of Dermatology and Venereology has been revised and published. This book incorporates recent developments and the current state of dermatology, adding new diseases, concepts, and treatment methods. The book consists of 4 chapters on general principles and 16 chapters on specific diseases, covering approximately 200 common dermatological conditions. It is organized into three categories: key diseases, general diseases, and basic diseases, aiming to highlight teaching priorities, facilitate future clinical applications for students, and serve as a reference for grassroots doctors. In addition to the original emphasis on clarity and differentiation of priorities, this edition places greater importance on visual and intuitive explanations, with the addition of more charts, diagrams, and color photographs to aid understanding and memory. The book contains about 300,000 words, accompanied by 66 synchronized color photographs, and is supplemented by a companion textbook. The content of the textbook can be customized based on local disease prevalence and teaching schedules at different institutions.
