Publishing Date: 2006-04-01
Features: With the continuous deepening of China's cost engineering management reforms, as well as the development of the qualification system for cost engineers and cost engineering consulting firms, and the requirement to align cost engineering management with international standards after China's entry into the WTO, the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Training Textbook Editorial Committee compiled this set of training textbooks according to the "National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Syllabus" revised by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Personnel in 2003. These textbooks are intended for use in the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination from 2003 onwards. The newly revised examination training textbooks are divided into "Basic Theory and Related Regulations of Cost Engineering Management," "Cost Engineering Estimation and Control," "Construction Project Technology and Measurement" (one volume for civil engineering and one for installation engineering), and "Cost Engineering Case Analysis."
Based on the "National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Syllabus" formulated by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Personnel in 2003, the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Training Textbook Editorial Committee revised the existing training textbooks, resulting in the 2006 edition of the examination training textbooks. This revision involved certain deletions and adjustments to the original textbook content, updates to cost engineering management regulations and policies, and the addition of some examples of cost engineering estimation methods. The newly revised National Cost Engineer Qualification Training Textbooks (2006 edition) remain divided into "Basic Theory and Related Regulations of Cost Engineering Management," "Cost Engineering Estimation and Control," "Construction Project Technology and Measurement" (one volume for civil engineering and one for installation engineering), and "Cost Engineering Case Analysis."
This book is divided into five chapters, introducing the general theory of cost engineering management; relevant theories, methods, costs, and project proposals in engineering economics; basic theories and methods of engineering finance, as well as taxes and insurance regulations related to engineering finance; the basic theories and applications of project management; and relevant economic laws and regulations. This book can serve as a supplementary training textbook for readers preparing for the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination.
