Features: With the continuous deepening of reform in China's cost engineering management, as well as the development of the qualification system for cost engineers and cost engineering consulting firms, and the requirement for aligning cost engineering management with international standards after China's entry into the WTO, the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Training Materials Editorial Committee organized the writing of this set of training materials according to the "National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Syllabus" revised by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Personnel in 2003. These training materials are intended for use in the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination from 2003 onwards. The newly revised examination training materials are divided into "Basic Theory and Related Regulations of Cost Engineering Management," "Cost Engineering Estimation and Control," "Construction Project Technology and Measurement" (one volume each for civil engineering and installation engineering), and "Cost Engineering Case Analysis."
Based on the "National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Syllabus" formulated by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Personnel in 2003, the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination Training Materials Editorial Committee revised the training materials, resulting in the 2006 edition of the examination training materials. This book is divided into eight chapters, introducing the composition of cost engineering; the quota-based costing method for cost engineering; the bill of quantities costing method for cost engineering; the costing and control of cost engineering during the decision-making stage of construction projects; the costing and control of cost engineering during the design stage of construction projects; the bidding and contract price determination for construction projects; the costing and control of cost engineering during the construction stage of construction projects; and the preparation of final accounts and the handling of post-completion warranty costs. This book can serve as a supplementary training manual for readers preparing for the National Cost Engineer Qualification Examination.
