Features: The "Studies on Chinese Classics and Culture" series is a collection of academic monographs. It focuses on the study of ancient Chinese texts (including both transmitted classics and unearthed documents) and the exploration and reflection on Chinese culture based on these ancient texts. It includes specialized research on classics and documents from the perspective of paleography, as well as multi-dimensional and multi-angle examinations of classics and Chinese culture, seeking to explore the intrinsic relationships between them and identify their points of intersection. Rooted in ancient Chinese classics and documents, the series strives to reflect the characteristics of paleography research, advocates a down-to-earth and pragmatic academic ethos, and encourages new approaches, perspectives, and methodologies to produce high-quality, even exceptional, academic research outcomes. This series is planned and organized by the Committee for the Collection and Research of Ancient Texts in Higher Education Institutions of China. The core team of scholars consists of academics from teaching and research institutions in paleography and ancient texts at 25 universities directly affiliated with the Committee, as well as experts from several influential publishing houses nationwide. Additionally, it incorporates academic research monographs from scholars across various disciplines that align with the series' objectives. Manuscripts for the series will be reviewed and approved by the editorial board, academic committee, and publishing house before being released in batches. We sincerely thank the People's Literature Publishing House, Shanghai Publishing House, Jiangsu Publishing House, and Qilu Book Society for their joint publication of this series. Here, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. The Editorial Committee of "Studies on Chinese Classics and Culture" April 15, 2003
