Features: On the distant continent, the human and demon races had formed a fragile balance in a great battle years ago, and they lived in peace for a time. Now, this fragile balance has been shattered by the ambitious demon emperor. Millions of demon soldiers cross the border, besieging Valen Fortress while launching a surprise attack directly at the empire's capital, which is guarded by the Zichuan family. The human forces suffer early setbacks in the war, and the survival of the human race on this continent hangs by a thread. The three young leaders of the Zichuan family—Sterling, Dilin, and Zichuan Xiu—begin to lead counterattacks, but the demons have a clear advantage in numbers. Can the human race, like the great battle years ago, unite the three major families—Zichuan, Liufeng, and Lin—to drive back the demon coalition?
The handsome Zichuan Xiu, the youngest general of the Zichuan family, who falls fast asleep during the decisive battle and often acts recklessly, can he bear the burden of leading his people to repel the demons? Can he restore the former glory of the empire? The love, hate, affection, and enmity between the three major families of Zichuan, Liufeng, and Lin, and the demons—Sterling's secret romance with the demon princess Kadan, Zichuan Xiu's love-hate relationship with his childhood sweetheart, the female heir, the mutual admiration between the beautiful commander Fengshuang of Liufeng and Zichuan Xiu, the Lin family heir's obsessive pursuit and assassination of Fengshuang, and how Dilin, as the head of the enforcement bureau, can balance his loyalty and brotherhood in the chaos—waves of conflict and heart-stirring drama. Will the lovers finally be together? Can loyalty and brotherhood both be fulfilled? These questions must be settled in this century-long great battle between humans and demons.
